Crate is Officially Incorporated

Big news: 5pm dev, inc. is officially a legal entity.

We filed through Stripe Atlas to ensure our foundation is as solid as our code. While the “Build in Public” journey remains the same, this move allows us to:

  1. Launch Paid Tiers: We can now officially process payments for our Business Tier.
  2. Dedicated Nodes: We are scaling up our bare-metal fleet to provide isolated environments for our first batch of enterprise users.

Crate started as a project to solve our own cloud-bill anxiety with Meerchat. Today, it becomes a company dedicated to helping every developer do the same.
